Atty Says Ex-Stanford Exec Plans To Plead Guilty

Law360, New York (July 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former Stanford International Bank Chief Financial Officer James M. Davis plans to enter a guilty plea as early as next week to charges related to his alleged role in a $7 billion Ponzi scheme, his attorney reportedly said at a bond hearing Monday.

Davis was granted $500,000 bail and pleaded not guilty to a three-count criminal information in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, but his attorney, David Finn, told U.S. Magistrate Judge Calvin Botley that Davis planned to change his plea...
