DOJ Seeks Cert In Anadarko Royalty Case

Law360, New York (July 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal government is trying to take its challenge to a January decision in favor of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in a case over royalties on eight offshore oil and natural gas leases to the U.S. Supreme Court, warning that letting the ruling stand could cost the U.S. at least $19 billion.
