ITC Denies IBM Bid To Block Asustek Imports

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has rejected IBM Corp.'s bid to stop Taiwanese notebook and computer parts maker Asustek Computer Inc. from importing products that allegedly infringe three IBM patents.

The ITC disclosed Tuesday that it would not review an administrative law judge's finding that Asustek did not violate Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
