Male Enhancement Pills With Tadalafil Face Recall

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Haloteco issued a recall of its male enhancement product Libipower Plus after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration discovered that the product contains tadalafil, an active ingredient in erectile dysfunction drugs, without a label listing the ingredient.

Tadalafil, which is also used in Eli Lilly & Co.'s Cialis, may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs used to treat high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease, and the combination can lower blood pressures to dangerous levels, according to a Monday statement from Haloteco....
