Judge Holds Off On Sunoco Refinery Cleanup Ruling

Law360, New York (July 16, 2009, 1:23 PM EDT) -- A judge has declined to rule on whether Sunoco Inc.’s operation of a Philadelphia-area refinery caused a contamination plume and what the United States should pay to reimburse the oil company for investigating the site, stating that those decisions should come after experts supply testimony in a suit seeking to assign responsibility for the cleanup.
