Husch Blackwell Cuts 10 In Latest Round of Layoffs

Law360, New York (July 16, 2009, 3:46 PM ET) -- Months after letting go of 17 attorneys and 45 staff members, the Midwestern firm of Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP has laid off an additional 10 attorneys, the firm confirmed Thursday.

The latest round of layoffs targeted both shareholders and associates across the firm's offices, a spokesman for Husch Blackwell said.

“As is our firm's practice, we constantly monitor our attorney staffing to match the level of experience, expertise and depth necessary to service our clients' workload needs over the coming months,” Husch Blackwell co-chairmen David A....
