Goodyear Mechanics Seek Cond. Cert. In FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (July 17, 2009, 2:04 PM EDT) -- A group of former mechanics for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is seeking conditional certification of a collective action accusing the company of failing to pay proper overtime.

In a motion filed Thursday, the five plaintiffs asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to certify the collective action under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
