Law360, New York (July 20, 2009, 11:29 AM EDT) -- An emissions trading bill currently making its way through a committee of the U.S. House of Representatives includes a number of provisions with potential ramifications for cross-border trade.

On March 31, 2009, House Representatives Edward Markey, D-Mass., and Henry Waxman, D-Calif., released the American Clean Energy and Security Act.[1] Rep. Waxman is the chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee while Rep. Markey is the chairman of the Energy and the Environment Sub-Committee.
