Army Illegally Provided Lake Water To Atlanta: Judge

Law360, New York (July 20, 2009, 9:23 PM EDT) -- A federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation over a long-running water battle involving three states and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has held that the Corps, which operates Lake Lanier in Georgia, illegally tapped the lake in order to supply Atlanta residents with drinking water.
