Law360, New York (October 04, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- American Medical Systems Inc. has filed a federal patent suit against biotechnology company Celsion Corp., claiming that Celsion’s products for treating prostate enlargement infringe four of American Medical’s patents.
American Medical’s suit, filed Sept. 28 in Delaware District Court, came just a day after American Medical’s suit against Celsion, lodged in Minnesota and asserting the same four patents, was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
