Full Speed Ahead For Broadcom GPS Suit

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 6:13 PM EDT) -- The federal judge overseeing a patent infringement dispute over GPS technology has shot down defendant SiRF Technology Inc.'s bid to stay proceedings pending the re-examination of the patents in dispute by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge James Selna of the Central District of California denied SiRF's stay request in its thorny patent spat with Broadcom, reiterating the decision first handed down in September 2008.
