Former FTC Economist Named To Senior FCC Post

Law360, New York (July 24, 2009, 3:48 PM EDT) -- An antitrust expert and former top economist for the Federal Trade Commission during the Clinton administration has been named chief economist at the Federal Communications Commission.

Jonathan Baker, who teaches law at American University's Washington College of Law, was among three people named to senior posts in the FCC's Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis on Wednesday.
