Yaz, Yasmin Plaintiffs Appeal To JPMDL

Law360, New York (July 24, 2009, 4:46 PM ET) -- Three law firms involved in 23 of the 32 lawsuits filed alleging Bayer Corp.'s popular Yaz and Yasmin oral contraceptives caused death and injury for its users have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to consolidate and transfer the litigation.

RodaNast PC, Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine PC and Zoll Kranz & Borgess LLC said they asked the MDL panel on Friday to transfer the litigation to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
