Cargill Reaches Final Deal In Glucosamine ITC Suit

Law360, New York (July 27, 2009, 5:03 PM EDT) -- Cargill Inc. has settled a U.S. International Trade Commission case against Ethical Naturals Inc., the last of a handful of companies the food ingredient company had accused of making or selling infringing glucosamine.

Administrative Law Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. on Friday issued an initial determination granting a joint motion to terminate the ITC investigation against Ethical Naturals, which competes against Cargill in the sale of the dietary supplement glucosamine.
