Potential Changes To SEC Disclosure Rules

Law360, New York (July 28, 2009, 2:02 PM EDT) -- On July 10, 2009, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission released its proposals for a number of changes to the compensation disclosure and proxy rules.[1]

The SEC believes that the proposed changes would enhance disclosure regarding compensation and corporate governance and clarify certain of the rules governing proxy solicitation.
