Hunton Vet Snags Role As Chevron VP, GC

Law360, New York (July 30, 2009, 4:24 PM ET) -- Former Hunton & Williams LLP competition practice group head R. Hewitt Pate has signed on as vice president and general counsel of Chevron Corp. to direct the company's worldwide legal affairs.

Leaving a 15-year career at Hunton & Williams — he worked there from 1990 to 2001 and 2005 to 2009 — Pate is set to begin work at Chevron on Aug. 3, according to a firm representative.
