8th Circ. Upholds Pilgrim's Pride Trade Secrets Verdict

Law360, New York (July 30, 2009, 6:04 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a jury's verdict finding two former managers of Pilgrim's Pride Corp. not liable for damages, even though the lower court ruled that the managers did misuse trade secrets when they left the company.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit affirmed Wednesday that Pilgrim's Pride and its distribution arm PFS Distribution Co. will receive no money as a result of the district court's finding.
