MIT Sues Micron Technology Over Semiconductor Patent

Law360, New York (October 08, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has once again filed a patent infringement lawsuit against a major high-tech company, this time suing semiconductor maker Micron Technology Inc. for allegedly violating a fabrication technology patent.

The lawsuit against Boise, Idaho-based Micron, which was filed Oct. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, comes as MIT navigates patent suits against software giant Microsoft Corp. and pharmaceutical firm ImClone Inc.
