Yahoo Fails To Ditch $6.6M Acacia Ad Patent Verdict

Law360, New York (July 31, 2009, 5:13 PM EDT) -- Yahoo Inc. seems unlikely to escape a $6.6 million infringement award to a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corp., now that various attempts to undo the jury verdict and stage a new trial over the claims of a computer advertising patent have fallen flat.
