PetSmart Seeks Coverage In Hamster Death Suits

Law360, New York (August 6, 2009, 6:26 PM EDT) -- PetSmart Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Travelers Property Casualty Co. of America, claiming the insurer is obligated to indemnify it for attorneys' fees paid defending itself in several suits accusing the pet retail chain of selling infected hamsters that eventually caused several deaths and serious illnesses.
