Valero OT Class Action Plaintiffs Want $100M

Law360, New York (August 10, 2009, 5:44 PM EDT) -- Valero Energy Corp. has been slapped with a putative class and collective action claiming North America's biggest oil refiner violated state and federal laws by failing to pay millions of dollars in overtime wages to thousands of convenience store workers.

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Monday, on behalf of three named plaintiffs, two of whom worked at Valero "Corner Stores" in Santa Cruz, Calif. through June 2009.
