EPA Refuses To Reanalyze Waxman-Markey Bill

Law360, New York (August 11, 2009, 12:47 PM EDT) -- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson has denied a request from two Republican senators to have the agency conduct another economic analysis of the House-approved climate change bill.

In a letter Thursday, Jackson told Sens. James Inhofe, R-Okla., and George Voinovich, R-Ohio, that the Energy Information Administration had already addressed many of their concerns through a new analysis released Aug. 4.
