Workers Can't Sue Coke Bottlers For Torture: Court

Law360, New York (August 13, 2009, 10:02 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has shot down allegations by a group of Colombian trade union leaders who accused two Coca-Cola Co. bottlers in the country of collaborating with government paramilitary forces to murder and torture employees, finding that they did not sufficiently plead their claims.
