Victims Sue Doeren Mayhew Over $250M Fraud

Law360, New York (August 11, 2009, 10:02 PM ET) -- More than 100 victims of a $250 million offering fraud have sued certified accountants Doeren Mayhew & Co. PC for allegedly aiding the Ponzi scheme.

The complaint, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, claims two of the directors of the accounting firm, Todd Fox and James O’Rilley, were instrumental in perpetrating a massive Ponzi scheme revolving around the sale of shares in bogus telecommunications companies.
