US Shrimpers Fight Lower Duties On Indian Imports

Law360, New York (August 13, 2009, 2:44 PM EDT) -- A consortium of U.S. shrimp processors has appealed a decision by the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration to lower anti-dumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp imported from India, arguing that the methodology used to determine the duties was flawed.

The Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee filed its complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday, asking the court to remand the decision on the duties back to the ITA for review.
