Subsidized Chinese Kitchen Imports Harm US: ITC

Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 6:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided that imports of kitchen shelving and racks made by Chinese companies that allegedly received electricity subsidies from the Chinese government either harm or threaten domestic producers.

The commission issued its determination Tuesday, confirming its preliminary ruling from September 2008. The International Trade Administration concluded that the Chinese imports were subsidized and sold below fair value in July.
