DOC Tells CIT Steel Dumping Review Will Stand

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 2:09 PM EDT) -- Ordered by the U.S. Court of International Trade to reconsider its decision not to halt a steel dumping review involving ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc., the Department of Commerce has thought the matter over — and come to the same conclusion, it said.

Notwithstanding the court's demand for reconsideration, the DOC was right not to shelve a nearly two-year review into Dofasco U.S. Steel Corp. and Stelco Inc., it said in a statement filed Thursday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
