CPSC Welcomes Full 5-Commissioner Lineup

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 12:02 PM EDT) -- With the official confirmation and swearing-in of two new commissioners, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission will begin work this fall with a complete roster of five commissioners, for the first time since the 1980s.

The White House announced Thursday that it had sworn in veteran CPSC legal adviser Robert Adler and former Republican congresswoman Anne Northrup as the CPSC's fourth and fifth commissioners, respectively, this week.
