Judge Set To Rule On Winn-Dixie Reorganization Plan

Law360, New York (October 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a relatively short period of 20 months in Chapter 11, a hearing on Southern supermarket chain Winn-Dixie Stores Inc.’s reorganization plan got underway on Friday.

The case has already involved tens of thousands of documents and months of negotiations with creditors, but that process could come to a close if Judge Jerry Funk gives his stamp of approval.
