Mintz, Proskauer Defer Associate Start Dates Again

Law360, New York (August 25, 2009, 6:58 PM ET) -- Deferred law school graduates may face an even longer wait to begin their employment following reports that Proskauer Rose LLP and Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo PC are pushing back associate start dates for a second time.

Mintz Levin representative Gina Addis confirmed Tuesday that the firm was deferring the start dates for its incoming associates.

“Yes, the firm, like others, has elected to further defer the incoming class of first-year associates,” she said.
