Ex-Haynes & Boone Client Seeks Emergency Relief

Law360, New York (August 26, 2009, 4:10 PM EDT) -- Timothy Frazin has asked a district court for an emergency stay to prevent his former bankruptcy counsel at Haynes and Boone LLP from executing on its portion of a $1.2 million judgment against Frazin arising out of his malpractice suit against the firm.

The amended motion for emergency relief, which Frazin filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, requested that the $300,000 that the firm currently holds pursuant to a bankruptcy court order should be frozen in the attorneys' interest-bearing...
