Aon Judge Has Change Of Heart

Law360, New York (August 28, 2009, 6:44 PM EDT) -- The federal judge that chastised insurer Aon Corp. just days ago has done an about-face, effectively granting it most of the relief sought in connection to the dismissal of two underwriters from a lawsuit seeking to hold them responsible for excess coverage of a $2.6 million personal injury judgment.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Lance Africk partially rescinded an earlier summary judgment order that had tossed American Home Assurance Co. from the case, pointing to new evidence unearthed.
