Lanier Starts New Bad Faith Insurance Group

Law360, New York (August 28, 2009, 2:36 PM ET) -- Insurance companies who jilt customers out of coverage after a disaster, be warned: Phillip N. Sanov and his new team at The Lanier Law Firm are gunning for you.

Sanov has been tapped to head a new bad faith insurance practice group. Lanier announced the new group publicly on Thursday.

Sanov, who has been with the firm since 2001, will lead three other attorneys in efforts to recoup money for people who, Sanov said, have been wrongly denied coverage after a hurricane or other disaster....
