Hynix, Others Sued Over Flash Memory Patents

Law360, New York (August 31, 2009, 1:19 PM EDT) -- ON Semiconductor Corp. has hit four rival technology companies, including Hynix Semiconductor Inc. and Nanya Technology Corp., with a suit claiming they infringed multiple patents covering flash memory and dynamic random access memory technology.

ON named Hynix, Nanya, Elpida Memory Inc., their U.S.-based affiliates and Hittite Microwave Corp. in a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
