Bose Sues Over Patent For IPod SoundDock System

Law360, New York (August 31, 2009, 5:37 PM EDT) -- Audio equipment maker Bose Corp. has accused a group of consumer electronics makers of infringing a patent for a remote-controlled speaker system designed for use with MP3 players.

The Framingham, Mass.-based company filed suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts against SDI Technologies Inc., Digital Products International Inc., Imation Corp. and two Imation subsidiaries.
