Claims Stripped From Raytheon, Indigo Secrets Spat

Law360, New York (September 1, 2009, 1:19 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has stripped claims of trade secret misappropriation, tortious interference and fraudulent concealment from Raytheon Co.'s suit over employee-poaching against rival defense contractor Indigo Systems Corp., leaving patent infringement and breach of contract claims in play.

Judge Richard A. Schell's opinion, issued Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, noted that Raytheon abandoned its claims of tortious interference and unfair competition, and ruled that a misappropriation of trade secrets claim is barred by a three-year statute of limitations....
