Horizon Says Securities Class Claims Should Be Sunk

Law360, New York (September 1, 2009, 12:39 PM EDT) -- Horizon Lines Inc. is seeking to quash a securities class action brought by several pension funds in the wake of price-fixing allegations at its Puerto Rican unit, saying the plaintiffs have failed to make specific allegations against the parent company or any top-level executives.
