Ex-FDA Chief Faces Prison Time After Guilty Plea

Law360, New York (October 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is facing up to two years in prison after he pled guilty Tuesday to conflict of interest and making false financial disclosures.

Lester Crawford is scheduled to be sentenced in January 2007 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
