Philly Union's Fair Share Fees Are Legal: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (September 2, 2009, 12:22 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a lower court's ruling upholding the method used by a Philadelphia union representing city workers to calculate so-called fair share fees charged to nonunion city employees, who are represented by the union only for the purposes of collective bargaining.
