Judge Dismisses Coca-Cola ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (October 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has dismissed a case brought by a former Coca-Cola Co. employee who sued the beverage manufacturer after he missed out on a better pension plan by leaving just before the company started offering improved packages to workers who lost jobs due to downsizing.

Judge Thomas W. Thrasher, Jr. decided on Monday that the claim by Carl Bleier was brought too late.
