Bronx Manager Hits Rite Aid With OT Class Action

Law360, New York (September 3, 2009, 12:13 PM EDT) -- A Bronx, N.Y., former drugstore employee has filed a putative class action against Rite Aid Corp., claiming the national chain failed to pay her overtime.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, says a class of similarly situated workers is entitled to back wages and damages under New York and federal labor laws.
