$7.5M Settles StarTek, Investors Securities Action

Law360, New York (September 4, 2009, 12:37 PM EDT) -- Business process outsourcing company StarTek Inc. and its executives have reached a $7.5 million settlement with investors alleging the company made misleading statements about the strength of its business, leading to inflated stock prices that later dropped.

The lead plaintiffs in a putative class action against StarTek filed a motion Thursday for preliminary approval of the settlement in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
