Weil Antitrust Vet Moves To Greenberg Traurig

Law360, New York (September 9, 2009, 6:32 PM EDT) -- Veteran antitrust litigator Irving Scher, formerly of Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP, has left the firm to join a growing antitrust practice at Greenberg Traurig LLP as senior counsel.

A partner since 1969, Scher has worked price-fixing, price discrimination and other antitrust-related suits involving parties such as Time Warner Inc., Philip Morris USA, American Airlines and Toys R Us, and on multidistrict litigation involving recorded music and compact disc prices.
