Court OKs Defense That Employers Have Duty To Warn

Law360, New York (September 9, 2009, 5:47 PM EDT) -- Although chemical manufacturer PPG Industries supplied a West Virginia plant with potentially hazardous chemicals, it may be able to avoid liability in a wrongful death suit brought by the family of a plant employee by arguing that its duty to warn was obviated by the employer's responsibility to inform its workers about any risks associated with its products.
