Adams & Reese Seeks Earlier Hearing In Conflict Suit

Law360, New York (September 14, 2009, 12:48 PM ET) -- Adams & Reese LLP has asked a district court to bump up the hearing date on its motion for summary judgment in a suit brought by Asset Funding Group LLC over A&R’s alleged conflict of interest during the 2005 bankruptcy of Evans Industries LLC.

A&R asked Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle to move up the hearing on the firm's Sept. 9 motion for judgment from Oct. 28 to Sept. 30 to consolidate it with a hearing on an earlier bid to end the suit, in a motion...
