Intel GC Departs Amid Antitrust Woes

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 9:50 AM EDT) -- The departure of Intel Corp.'s general counsel just six months from the trial date of its rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc.'s high stakes antitrust case against it has industry analysts scratching their heads.

Bruce Sewell's departure comes amid a big shakeup announced by Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel in a statement Monday, but the computer chip giant said its long-serving in-house lawyer left of his own accord.
