Countervailing Duties To Stick For Italian Pasta Co.

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 5:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration said Tuesday it had completed its review of a countervailing duty order on certain pastas from Italy and decided not to make any revisions.

In an announcement in the Federal Register, the ITA said it found that De Matteis Agroalimentare SpA received countervailable subsidies amounting to 2.48 percent and would instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess countervailing duties at that rate.
