Hundreds Weigh In On Pending Korea, Colombia FTAs

Law360, New York (September 16, 2009, 8:29 PM EDT) -- Hundreds of trade groups, companies and other stakeholders weighed in ahead of a deadline for public comment on whether the pending U.S. free trade agreements with South Korea and Colombia are in line with global trade goals.

The U.S. trade representative asked for public input on the pending trade agreements in July, a move that underscored President Barack Obama's commitment to resolving issues that have stalled the ratification of the agreements, which were negotiated under the Bush administration.
