Modern Continental Liquidation Plan Gets Green Light

Law360, New York (September 18, 2009, 3:18 PM EDT) -- Modern Continental Co. Inc., which was a major contractor in Boston's Big Dig highway construction project and sought bankruptcy protection after federal prosecutors brought charges against the company, had its plan of liquidation confirmed by the court overseeing its Chapter 11 proceedings.

Judge William C. Hillman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts signed an order bearing Wednesday's date giving his approval to Modern Continental's blueprint for liquidation.
