Baucus Tweaks Bill To Make Health Care Cheaper

Law360, New York (September 22, 2009, 6:55 PM EDT) -- U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., has modified the controversial health care overhaul that he introduced last week, introducing changes that he says will lower insurance and medical costs for low- and middle-income Americans.

Baucus released the changes Tuesday to the Chairman's Mark of the America's Healthy Future Act, which was introduced on Sept. 16 and sparked criticism from Republicans and Democrats alike.
